Wow, answers that question, doesn't it? This is turning into an amazing year for O2/'pac collectors. Only 60 are being made. :D

I find it strange that a normal videopac game has the videopac+ style packaging. I wonder also why they used the spiderman DVD cover image instead of making their own. Wouldn't that mean they could be sued sooner or later? :/
I'm glad it's finally coming out - and I'm getting one too! :D
So far, this is looking like the 'year of the odyssey2'!

PAL only... I'll wait for an NTSC copy (yeah, right..)
Figures. And I was gonna buy one, too.
I don't like the packaging, however. I wish they'd have used the original Parker Bros. silver box.

The packaging design is really the only thing keeping me from buying a copy. Too bad, I'd like to give it a try.

Well, that is all right. All Videopacs from #48 on had the "Plus-style" packaging, no matter if they are Plus- oder Non-Plus-Videopacs.

Nope, it plays just fine and dandy on an Odyssey2:

How bad is are the colors off on a US O2?

Spidey's red, the Goblin is green, the sky is blue, the buildings are pinks and greens and yellows. It's really not very far off, if it's off at all. I haven't altered or adjusted any of the screen shots.

D'OH!! Figures I didn't order one. I loved this game on the vcs. It'd be interesting, say the least, to play it on an O2.
I still like the silver parker bros. packaging, though.

I believe a second run is being planned, but with different artwork. Might want to go back to the original post and check that web site for details. :D

According to the website only the cover will be different. It's a start (since the 'original' cover was wrong on so many levels) but it's still not the Parker style packaging this game deserves...
