Look, I was the only one who answered the question that the other guy had on the Neo Geo. The guy who started this thread. None of you other experts bothered to explain the cart system or cd system to him, or the different models. I did that on page 1. He said he didn't know anything about the Neo Geo, so I contributed by telling him.

I made a very valid point by explaining why Neo Geo users are more likely to have the boxes, which nobody else ever addressed. Then some arrogant, pompous collector who thinks he is king shit on this board called me out as a hypocrite for no reason.

Doesn't matter, because one of these days I'll have 1,000 posts and people will say, "Oh, ok. Well he has 1,000 posts so his opinion finally counts."

You did however make an attack on the credibility of a member we all know to be credible. It just makes you look silly.

I think it is quite amusing that you feel the need to create an entire separate thread to crow about how hurt you are that someone on the internets said a bad thing about you, and about how no-one appreciates your wonderful contributions.

You complain about 'Atari bias' here, but you seem unaware of your own bias towards expecting this forum to work like the Neo Geo forums, where everything is some big contest and everyone has to show pics of their collection to gain acceptance, like some high school squabble over dick-size.

Personally, I couldn't care less about Neo Geo or Atari, and I've always found it very amenable here, so I think you're probably seeing what you want to see there.

Anyway, welcome to Digital Press. You've certainly made an entrance .. and one that you'll either have to live down, or live up to. Good luck with whichever you choose!

Doesn't matter the amount of posts you have...I have over 1k and these guys know better than to listen to me. You've stumbled into a tight community, young warrior. You'll have to establish who you are and what you know (more importantly...what you're learning) before you can expect people to take kindly to you when you question established members credibility.
Relax and keep in mind that DP isn't just a website full of anonymous members. There are friends here. Imagine a new guy coming straight up to your friends and starts talking some shit about one of you...how would you react?

I can understand what Bangtango is saying as I was criticized a few times for comments I made for no reason. Alot of people here are elitist and overly critical.

Difference in opinion is somewhat frowned upon on this forum.

I've also seen DreamTR brag a few times about his complete NES collection, which doesn't bother me, but the way he reacted to Bangotango does.

I made comments about the NEX, which I know to be true and DreamTR lied and made me seem like a dick.

What is this, national "Bash DreamTR Day"? I've conversed with him a few times, and dealt with him at least once - and I have nothing bad to say about him. And frankly, a couple of people who pop their heads up to whine that "he made me look a dick" really aren't going to swing my opinion.

Especially when they both seem more than capable of making themselves look like dicks by whining so pitifully about some perceived slight on an internet forum :roll:
