Hey, I'm new here, I have an extensive video game collection (about 2500 games from Nintendo up to Game Cube but am very curious about something. All of you on here seem to know a ton about rarities of games and complete collectors lists. I have been doing my best to piece together definitive lists of games from a number of sites (places like Good Deal Games and other places) but am really unsure if the lists are completely accurate. For certain systems like Neo Geo CD, 3DO, and CD-I (which I have a HUGE collection of) I am really unsure if half of the games that were SUPPOSED to be released ever came out. Basically what I am asking for is if anyone knows of where I can find lists for North American games that were released to please point me in that direction. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Lou

And if VGB doesn't have what you need, the url to our old board is
http://pub103.ezboard.com/bretrogaming . There are tons of good threads not only in the archives, but in the main video game forum as well. Definitely check that out for lists, as well as rarity questions. There's an entire thread dedicated to every system's game rarities most likely.

Awesome! If I ordered it today, when would I have it by? Also, could you tell me how in-depth they cover the CD-I in the guide?
Thanks
Lou

Actually, if you wait until after CGE to order, you'll be able to order it directly from several online sites. But until after August 13th, the ordering has been closed. So another week before it can be ordered direct. And that takes a few days.
Oh, and the CD-i section...pretty much each game gets an overview, developer and publisher are listed, as are price and rarity. It gets the same attention that all other systems, for what that's worth. But we only listed gaming software...and sometimes it's a fine line between game and edutainment on that system.

You might also want to check out my little site for Genesis games. There is no release list, but you can verify stuff from the pictures in the database.
