Favorite movie that was actually a good game?
The legend that is Goldeneye on N64 of course. The film itself is a pretty good Bond movie too.

Totally, Batman for NES. And though it was loosely a sequel, Batman ROTJ.

Total Recall for NES! LOL
*** Blackjax ducks incoming barrage of random things being thrown at him
Just kidding!
Seriously, I have to go with Batman for NES as well. One of the few good Batman games ever made.

We're only judging the movie and not the game, correct? The Goonies.
Krull. Loved the film, with Lysette Anthony looking gorgeous. VCS game was good too.

TRON... like seriously, it's my favorite movie anyway and we all know about the handful of games based off it.

Movies:
Tron or Goonies. They're two of my fav movies of all time.
Goonies never leaves the area of my DVD player because when I take it out, I know it's going back in within the month.
Tron goes everywhere my PSP does. (it seems I lost my DVD :( )
Games:
Maze-a-Tron is the only Tron I don't like. It used to scare me as a kid. Deadly Discs was one of my fav games growing up. Man, I used to get PISSED when I would miss the eye and have all my doors closed. (INTV)
Goonies 2: I played it a lot but I didn't like it too much, I just didn't have the $$ to buy anything better.

I remember liking Jurassic Park when I was a kid and also playing it on the Genesis a lot at my friends house.
That, and E.T. of course.

Either Goonies II or Friday the 13th on the NES. I don’t know why but Friday the 13th is still fun to play. In my opinion, Gooneis II was one of the better NES games ever made

Total Recall and Terminator 2 (NES).
Don't get me wrong... people who saw me play Total Recall at CGE 2003 at the Lost Levels booth may remember I kicked all kinds of ass at it. Well, before someone from the booth forced me to turn it off before driving away more people. LOL GIT YER ASS TA MARS
Terminator 2 is pretty much the only NES game that I still play on an emulator to this day. It's pretty good for what it was, and the game's control limitations give it a bit of difficulty I really enjoyed. I was pretty happy when the prototype was dumped and played the hell outta that sucker too.

Favorite MOVIE that also has a game? How about a little film I like to call Star Wars?
Favorite GAME that happens to have a movie attached to it? I'd go with Goldeneye, personally.

What, Robocop vs. Terminator wasn't a movie?!
Well, Aliens isn't my absolute favorite movie...but come on, Contra AND Aliens! All inspired by that film in particular. Since the real (William Gibson's) Alien 3 never happened, this is gonna be the closest thing we'll see to the perfect action movie style Alien. :P

Alien, Aliens (the arcade cab is one of my faves), and Star Wars (to be fair, I'm going with Lego Star Wars as the Star Wars game of choice) :)

For me it's definetly Blade Runner, with the Westwood PC realtime-adventure.

i think the best "good" game based on a movie is DUNE - the cryo version (the cd based one) - What a fantastic game that was (it was also based on the book -- there was more in the game than the movie which came from the book) (also had a beautiful box - PC)
for a runner up id say blade runner - westwood (have to say westwood becasue i think there are a few bladerunner games -- i know there was one on the C64
both of those are PC titles (with the exception of a DUNE port on the sega cd )
Console game (besides dune) -- id have to stick with the games based on the first batman movie by tim burton
the nes game was great - the C64 game was great - genesis game was great
i cant vote for starwars becasu the actual starwars game dosent have much of the movie in it ( i know its old)
and the other great starwars games are basicaly starwars universe - not movie plots

Folks, don't forget about Chronicles of Riddick for the Xbox... one of the best games for the system. I can't say that I've seen the movie though, but at least I know the game for it is sweet.
