EA White Xbox?

Does anyone have one of these? I'm trying to figure out how many of these there actually were. The number i've heard thrown around is 500, but i'd bet dollars to doughnuts that is way off. I'd almost guarantee that there are less of these then the Gates Launch boxes, as this is the only xbox i've never seen in person.

What i've gathered so far: This was basicly a bribe from Microsoft to get EA to port their online titles over to Live!. There were two matching white controllers, both had the same EA Live jewl as the box itself. I don't know if it had the standard av cables, or the component. I don't believe that it had the dvd kit, and i'm not sure if it came with any games, but i'd imagine not.

So far i've found 3 units. One is at Xbox HQ, one belongs to "Major Nelson", and one belongs to a higher up developer at EA...

Haha. It still has the plastic film on the power buttons. Nice, but not the nicest LE XBOX, that is reserved for the Dead Or Alive 3 LE XBOX or the Canadian Halo 2 LE XBOX.

Have you actually seen one of those "crystal blue" Xboxes in person? Because, honestly, they don't look very nice at all. At times, they look almost black. The Halo 2 one is so damn lazy of an LE -- it's just an NTSC-U Xbox slapped inside a Kasumi case.

Definately worth the $320 I spent on it.

Rate My Rare is awesome! This white EA/Live Xbox came in standard retail xbox packaging, normal AV cables, two EA Games-jewel (not Live jewel) white controller s's, and the NCAA/Top Spin disc that was the bundle for that Holiday season. I also have an "Xbox Live" thank you card signed by people who's signatures I can't read. ^^

It wasn't a bribe at all, as no one knew they would receive them, and didn't get them until months after the project was over. It was more of a "thanks for your hard work" (and again, totally unexpected, which was really cool of MS and EA).

I have no idea if the 500 number is accurate, but that's what I was told and I have no reason to doubt it. I know one other programmer personally who got one, but considering we were definitely NOT higher-ups I'm sure there are quite a few more floating around. Afterwards, we were checking eBay to see if anyone was trying to sell them. ^^

Anyone here have a white Panzer Dragoon Orta Xbox? Those are pretty slick from the pics I've seen.

yeah it is, you can see the purple lettering on the lower left, that says "panzer dragoon orta"
