My manager at gameshtop told me that there will be a shortage of DDR games, due to a law suit with one of it's manufacturers. This would include the "Re-Release" of DDR Mario Mix.
Big F-ing blow to the nuts, huh?

Suprise suprise suprise. My friend never knew about the DDR Mario game until a awhile ago when I told him about the re-release. With that said he wants to buy 2 copies, 1 to play and the other to keep sealed in a closet just in case. Anyone else feel this way?

Lawsuit? I didn't hear anything about that. I know that Konami filed one against RedOctane/Roxor for ITG a while back but I think they settled before it could go to court.
Didn't see anything on DDRFreak about it either. I imagine if there was a lawsuit of any kind, they'd have info about it there.

I'm sure that we (and by 'we', I mean gamers in general) would have heard about this already. I'm thinkin' this is BS.

It goes against the laws of space and time for the phrases "DDR game" and "shortage" to appear in the same sentence, including this one.

I think that it must be something else legal-wise, but my manager has been right many times, so he may know the "speile" on this. I'll back him on this.
I though it was a bit strange when he said that, too. But then again weirder things have happened.

I seem to recall that outside of the US, DDR is known as "Dancing Stage" [or a variant of that].
