pit fighter
way of the warrior

street fighter: the movie
guardians of the hood
choaniki (the ps1/saturn version)
war gods
pulirula (it had segments with digitized graphics, the majority of the game was standard sprites)
time cop
rise of the robots
matsumura kunihiro den

anyone want to comtribute?

Only ones that spring to mind right now are Kasumi Ninja & Shinobi X.

Or, if you want to go back a bit - Sam Fox Strip Poker and a lot of other strip poker games. ;)

Does killer instinct count?

Donkey Kong Country and Killer Instinct shouldn't count, nor should Rise of the Robots.

Also you can add Survival Arts, Shadow: War of Succession and Operation Wolf 3. Maximum Force, White Men Can't Jump, there's a ton. Half the 3DO library. :D

FMV games like Burn: Cycle ? D:

I can't think of anything, but I see a number of games listed I'd forgotten about. :P

Vicious Circle (prerendered though)? And Rise of the Triad, naturally.

Don't forget the first digitized characters in an arcade game date all the way back to 1983: Bally Midway's Journey game KLOV info (http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=J&game_id=8242).

GOD....the HORROR.

Anyhow, I played this on pc, but I know it came out on Saturn:

Crusader - No Remorse

God, I hated ferrett boy who sold you all the weapons. I wanted to take his ferrett and start bludgeoning him to death with it.

PlayStation too (my version, buggy, must be the scratched disc)! The only things I saw that were digitized were the movies.

Yeah my bad...gameplay wasn't digitized but there were digitized actors in the cutscenes, and after missions when you went back to the base. Oh well, I guess I fucking failed at this question huh?

Speaking of bad digitized, I highly recommend Demolition Man on the 3DO.

Ummm, all of them? Well, not the Oddyssey 1, but it had no "characters."

Ooooh, digitized. Gotcha. ;)

Sorry, someone had to, heh heh.

Stinky Phoenix 3 (3DO) had a digitized good guy. Actually the game is just called "Phoenix 3".

EDIT: Sorry classic gaming fans, the game is not a sequel to the Phoenix arcade game.

Guardians of the Hood
NARC
Judge Dredd (unreleased)

All arcade. NARC is the best of this group, but they are all pretty terrible. Judge Dredd reminds me of the Batman Forever arcade game. What a mess.

Agreed. I could only stand about 5 minutes of Judge Dredd (beat a boss and that was it).
