To make a long story short, I tried to solder something not knowing what I was doing, and I damaged the 64 pin chip, so now the video is all messed up. So I need the board that that chip was on to replace it, it thats even possible....otherwise, a great condition Saturn might have to go in the junker :( anyone that has replacement Saturn parts, your help is appreciated, thanks......

Might be able to get hold of a Japanese saturn that you can have for free + shipping from Japan...

Is this any use? Might be easier to find one in the US! ^_^

Not that i need to even be talking about this these days..

Only the 32 pin IC chip can be modded.. that is all..

Priest, the Jap Saturn would actually be much MORE useful to me than a US one, because I own mostly imports anyway :) ....please PM me with more details.....oh, and Radeon, I did read the thread you made about this, but I was using some instructions archived on the old playthegames.com site, and it listed instructions for a 64 pin chip, so I would assume those were accurate, as they do that sort of work.....but you were prob. right, although I had kept coming up with info. detailing what to do with a 64 pin chip...
