Someone has posted instructions on how to create the LED spoke lights above. Get your bike up to speed, and PacMan appears on your back bike wheel, chasing a ghostmoster on your front wheel. Cool stuff.
Gizmodo shows you how (http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/gadgets/doityourself-led-bike-wheels-159380.php)

Awesome. Wouldn't want to see that around 5 or 25 MPH though.

The ghost is upside down if you turn the bike right side up.

Yeah, but it's easier to film it with the bike standing still vs. trying to have a camera pan along with someone until they hit 15mph. If you wanted to ride with the images on the wheels, you could just turn 'em around.

OK, I think this is absolutely, Real Genius gadget-cool. Comparable to the ice-chip slicing laser. I intend to get one, and build the kit.
QUESTION: From what I read on the Spoke POV site, it seems to me this could be used as an EEPROM burner. If so, that would be a whole lot less expensive than a 'real' EEPROM burner.
Do any of you, more knowledgeable than I am in the ways of electronics, know whether or not I could use the kit this way?
