Sure -- me & whole buncha other people'd want one lol
I say the possibility is absolute ZIP ZERO ZILCH
Why?
Because the consoles that are out are absolutely bleeding money & it really isn't about quote/unquote "What Console Is The [so-called] Best" anymore.
GPUs are pretty much the same & everyone's got the same CPU.
Saying what console is "better than" another is like saying this CD player is better than that CD player.
For "APPLE Computer" to enter the competition wouldn't be corporate suicide, but it sure as heck'd be a HUGE waste of time & money since people barely know now what console ta go with now, much less adding another -- relatively equally powered -- one to choose from.
Thoughts?
And yes -- I know about the "Pippin" lol
I'd've gotten one, but not a lottta games were made for it -- more edutainment stuff -- as, say, "CD-I" or "3DO"

I'm going to assume it's a what if speculation, in that case...
It would be interesting to see what Apple would produce. Outside of anything solid to see or know I can't really say much of anything else.

I don't know. I like the "7800" but it's like "2600" with bad controllers and more games with good "graphics." But still, the "SNES" has the mouse so it's like an "Atari ST" or "Amiga" because you can make "graphics" with "it."

Apple computers are hardly gaming mechines.hey need to give computer gaming more effort like the once did to even think about making a console.....If thats even what this topic is about.

Reading this months EGM should put a little light on this thread. Page 32 they have an article about Apple's new system, called the iGame. It will work like an iPod were you get the games through iTunes, just like you can with music files. They even have a picture of it, but I lack a scanner to show this picture from the issue.
