Well since this is supposingly a game that have shot up in price because it is not produced anymore. I thought I will share a place THAT still had Phoenix Wright (I just ordered it and it has been shipped :D).

I hope whoever is after this game, gets one without going through ebay.

I hope this helps out.

So I guess the reprint finally happened. Hot.

My Base Exchange has always had one copy on the shelf. Whenever it gets sold, another one magically appears. I flirted with the idea of whoring a copy on ebay, but I figured that might be a bit unethical.

Pretty sweet game, but suffers from a few annoying flaws (text speed, some of the "puzzles" aren't all that logical, some cases drag on way too long, some story elements are flat out stupid, traveling between locations is way more of a pain than it needs to be, etc....basically it suffers from pretty much every flaw typical japanese pc adventure games do). Still, I'm almost done with case 4 and I hope to clear out case 5 this weekend. maybe. Maybe.

God damn does it have a fucking sweet soundtrack, too.

I'm pretty sure Capcom reprinted it! NCSX has it in stock. http://www.ncsxshop.com/cgi-bin/shop/NTR-P-AGYE.html

From NCSX:
Update: March 10, 2006 at 2:30PM EST
The new production of the USA version of Phoenix Wright has shipped from Capcom and NCS expects to restock the game on Monday (March 13, 2006). We will process and dispatch all backorders once the game arrives and new orders are welcome. Please note that the price being charged from suppliers is slightly higher than the original shipment. As such, the price is now US$35. If you have already placed a backorder for the game at the original price of US$30, NCS will honor your preorder at US$30. Thanks for reading.

So go and get it if you haven't already. :D :D :D

Ugh, it sucks to hear that - I bought my copy on eBay for $50 since I heard it was out of print. Oh well.

It's a GREAT game, though - pick it up if you find it!

If you found the first four cases to have those flaws, then case 5 will be agony.

Just curious, as I don't have a desire for this game (too much reading)...

Is the reprint going to be worth any more or less than the original run?

Not the retail pricing, but the rarity, etc.

Reprints tend to be completely indistiguishable from first printings, I think.

they are, its the exact same game.

on a side note, i bought this game upon its original release, i dont care its value going down, im glad it got a reprint, its an amazing game that will hopefully bring more people to the DS instead of turning into a suikoden 2.

Freaking awesome. Phoenix Wright is an absolutely amazing game, and it's great to hear that Capcom realized that there was enough interest in it to garner a reprint. Hopefully sales will be enough for them to bring over the sequels....on something besides a goddamned cell phone. x_x

Good to see Capcom will get more sales from loyal fans.

I still won't be buying that garbage though.

Amen. It's good to know that there's someone else out there who prefers seeing a great title get more exposure over increasing in value.

I just picked up a copy of this at my local Fry's for $30. I guess it's the reprint, but I'm not sure how to tell (if there is a way). So they are out there! 8-)
