I have just been paid by a person living in Canada, and I noticed that there was a 'ship' button next to there name. This was strange because I thought that I couldn't ship internationally with Paypal. Lo and behold, I could do it. I'm not sure when this happened, but I don't care because now I'll never have to leave the house :D
Anyway, I was wondering how exactly am I supposed to do this, before I do this. It says I need this, Customs Form Envelope 2976E (http://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10152&storeId=10001&categoryId=13356&productId=11683&langId=-1) however is it really necessary, or can I ship in a regular bubble mailer with the shipping label taped onto it as if I were shipping to someone in the US?
Thanks.

You HAVE to add the customs form if your item exceeds a certain weight. :)

Well, I'm shipping a DC game with the case and I was planning to ship it in a small bubble mailer. Do I need one, or does that exceed the weight?
Thanks.

Since you're sending a light game, I think you have to use the smaller, green customs form.

The white form is for anything over 4lbs and even if you use paypal shipping internationally you still need to bring it to the PO so they can do the customs part.
So in short you still have to leave the house.

I thought it was for items 5lbs. and over.

They always tell me 4lbs. I HATE filling any customs forms out.

White form = 5 lbs and over.
Anything under 16 oz you don't even have to do the green form.

Ya, I wish they follwed that. I shipped a DVD that was only 2oz and I still had to fill out the green one even though. My local PO sucks ass because they get a lot of stuff wrong even when I was trying to file an insurance claim for damage they said I had to wait 2 weeks or something even though on the form it says for damage file ASAP.

Bah.
Why bother even having the global shipping then?

Next time you're at the post office just grab a couple forms -- then you won't need to leave home
