This is the first time i have ever heard of someone being knighted in France.
Congradulations and all that but somehow i get the feeling that being knighted in France isnt quite so "cool" as being knighted in England.

Don't you have to be a natural born citizen to be Knighted in England?
Regardless, I can't think of a better person to honor in such a grand way. He really is our patron saint.

Sir Shiggy= Born in country he's knighted in.
Shiggy OBE= Born in another country, but knigted in another.
The latter ending would be different because it's france.
