I've often looked on Evilbay for arcade marquees for my wall for games I loved.

Should one feel guilty for buying such things since it may encourage the dismantling of original cabs?

Never. You're buying a part that's probably already removed from a game for a reason (destroyed, junk, etc). I have numerous loose marquees that I've picked up for decoration, though, I have taken some off the wall in the past for people who were restoring games that needed nice marquees.

you could just swiftly kill them and take the cab they were working on for yourself....i mean, you already have the nice marquee for it and everything....why not have the whole thing for yourself.....

This is a good point, but I'm a very picky ninja, so often I'll have a marquee for a game, but won't actually want that game in my lineup.
