How do I go about opening a SNES cart? I purchased a game a few days ago and the connectors are slanted so the system will not read them. I just need to pull them out a bit, but I need to open the cart so I can make sure they stay that way.

You need to use a special bit to remove them, look around on eBay for a multitool kit similar to this one...

That's a review I wrote of the toolkit I mainly use, make sure that it includes the bits to open what you need. Oh yeah, I've since found a use for the "tuning fork" bits, they open NES power adapters.

the likely cause is that one of the tabs that holds the PCB in place is broken. you probably hear a rattle in the cart too. opening the cart will just reveal that the tab is broken and there's no way to permenantly re-align the PCB.

However, once you've bought the security bits to get in there you can open another (preferably less valuable game) and swap the back half of the cartridge casing so your favored game sits properly inside its case again. just be careful because some SNES carts have different shaped PCBs and therefore differently oriented hang tabs.
