i've been dying for a DS since launch, but i've hated the look. i knew there would be a redesign and i've been holding out for one. since the anouncement of this very, very gorgeous redesign i've been beaming! but now that it's released in japan i still have no info on when it's going to hit our shores. anyone know?
Sadly it is still unknown, but many think it will launch with The New Super Mario Bros or in summer.

Rumors say around May. Yet CMTZ pretty much left a good marketing idea. Launch it along side New SMB and you have a sure fire winner.

Hopefully soon, but not too soon because I need to save up some cash before I can get one. I've been holding out to get one it looks pretty good.

I wouldn't do a full launch of it in the US til Christmas. I'd do a bundle of it with New Super Mario Bros. though.

if i gotta wait 'till christmas i'll be shooting myself. LOL
seriously though, toronto's blanketing the whole city in wi-fi coverage by the end of this year so it's basically gonna be a DS user's eden. i've gotta have my skills polished up in all the staple games by then.

yeah, ive heard speculation from may to christmas. I think it all may depend on manufacturing numbers. I am importing. hopefully i get it before the official NA release LOL LOL LOL LOL :(
somone on the "ds lite announced" (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=79287) thread said that their work (gamestop?) will be getting a lite kiosk by the first of summer or something, so official NA release must follow pretty soon after that, or most likely before, since the other way around would be kinda weird.
so if that is true mine should be coming before the end of april! I can't wait that long! damn! there is no "gun in mouth" or "noose" emoticon!
