Someone was kind enough to scan the entire article. Interesting stuff. Fence climbing is back! 8 worlds with a world map like Mario 3? Tons of new pics. :D

I'm getting a "Page Cannot Be Displayed" message. I really want to see this, too. I'll have to scower the internet.

It's ok, they're not even scans...someone just shot some photos with a digital camera that probably cost 5x-10x more than a scanner but is quite a bit less effective :( Can't really make out any of the text on any of the pages, but thanks for the heads up that the magazine was out and about.
Hopefully someone actually bothers to scan it in. I don't know why people waste their time photographing pages when it's so ineffective. May as well cam a VHS movie while you're at it.

Or you could spend 5 bucks and buy the magazine. Why bother with scans when it is much easier to do that?

I didn't think it was possible for me to want this more than I did before I saw those pics but I was wrong. May 7th can't come any faster.

Scans are more for people that can't buy a magazine due to their location or wouldn't buy it for whatever reason. You know, like the Famitsu scans that people like to swap around and The Magicbox likes to nick news from.

It's being said the NSMB will have 80+ levels. Holy shit if that is true.
May 7th is so far away. @_@

May will come around quicker than you expect! Plus we've got Tetris and Metroid to keep us busy.
I think there have been even more scans (http://www.jeux-france.com/news14998_new-super-mario-bros-80-niveaux.html), as well. Bowser looks totally awesome!

Check out this part from the Nintendo Power article:
Eight themed worlds await you-plains, desert, tropical island, forest, ice, mountains, sky, and Bowser's Lair-with new challenges at every turn. In World 2, you'll turn the sandy ground into mountainous dunes with the press of a switch; in World 4, you'll cross a deadly swamp by riding on the back of a dinosaur; and you'll battle across icy slopes as snow falls from trees and threatens to send Mario sprawling in World 5. Other challenges include racing through a vertically oriented cave as lava nips at your heels, surviving a foreboding wasteland where you're bombarded by block-smasing volcanic rocks that shoot from the background to the foreground, and navigating a maze (or 2) of Piranha Plant-filled pipes. And just wait until you get to the stage that's set atop a 50-foot-long Wiggler."
"Even the world maps-which follow the standard set by Super Mario Bros. 3-are a joy to explore. Optional routes through levels reveal multiple paths through the worlds, and by spending hard-earned star coins-three are hidden in each stage-you can access extra areas, like mushroom houses in which Toad porvides extra lives or power-ups. If you search hard enough, you might even find a legendary warp zone, but watch out for Hammer Bros.-they patrol the world maps, hoping to get the jump on any hapless hero that crosses their path. In addition, worlds play host to spooky ghost houses (filled with Boos, naturally) and trap-laden forts located at the middle and end of each realm.
This game is sounding better and better as more info comes along!

Uhh, roushi, if you're gonna upload 12.7 MB of cartridge, you might crop in the corners a bit tighter. Just the wasted space on the sides of the cart took a few seconds to load.
Anyway, I looked at the NP scans, saw one picture of Mario vs. Bowser, and lost interest. I'll wait for a game site to upload the pics, because that NP mag isn't readable in its current form.
Edit: But they do have a quote from Koji Igarashi (here) (http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=3/7521465851.jpg&s=x11), so I guess it wasn't all bad.

Wow, this game looks awesome. I cannot wait to play this game. It's probably because they haven't released a Mario game like this for a while. I also just read today it has been delayed. I hope it's worth the wait.

I read IGN's GDC Preview (http://ds.ign.com/articles/697/697674p1.html) and GameSpy's GDC Preview (http://gba.gamespy.com/nintendo-ds/new-super-mario-bros/697782p1.html) this morning. No new information, as far as I could tell, and the guys only got a short while with the game, in a crowded and noisy environment. I thought the previews were a bit on the safe side, though - almost underwhelming.
I'm still a tad worried that this game won't be received very well by the critics, but it should still be a must-buy.

It has only been delayed a week in the US. It was covered everywhere. No biggie, right?

New gameplay videos shown. The fortress level looks a lot like the ones from Super Mario World. Nice!
