I recently got a unpaid item strike from a sller because i didnt pay for an item i won. Naturaly I will pay, but the seller didnt answer any of my question. Didnt even get the bank transfer info i needed before the strike was filled @_@
I finaly got the info, but the seller wants 10 euro to ship 1 NES game. The normal price is about 5 euro. I asked him why he want 10 euro, but he doesnt fucking answer. I've sent 3 mails the last few days and used the contact form through ebay, no reply.
I cant call him because it seems he only speak german, and i only know like 5% german so speaking would be impossible. I have contacted ebay and asked, but what can they do?
How many strikes can you get? What will happend if you get X strikes, permanently suspending? I think I got a unpaid item strike like 1 year ago because the seller didnt have Paypal which i didnt see unfortunatly. How long do these strike count?

you can get 3 strikes then you are kicked off. Problem with even one strike is you can be blocked from bidding on auctions. I myself set that filter on my auctions, anyone with negative feedback score or an unpaid item strike cant bid on my auctions.
You can not get rid of a strike unless the seller who gave it to you removes it. I had to give a strike since a buyer didnt pay then he paid so I removed it.

Shouldn't you have asked you questions and negotiated shipping fees before bidding and not afterwards?

Usualy yes, but when you spot the auction before it ends its too late. This is the highest shipping ive seen from germany too. Doesnt matter now anyway, i have already won it.

How?
I have blocked buyers too. I only see a "2 strikes in last 30 days" option?

Hehe ye, i saw that one too. But the BIN was only 1 cent or so ;)
Still no reply, i wonder if i shall just pay and just forget about it. Dont want to get a strike for this little amount of money.
Btw, what happends if you pay and the seller doesnt cancel the strike? Since he doesnt answer me now there might be a chance he wont answer me even if i pay.
