i miss UO :(.... if things could go back to what they were like in UO t2a I would immediately start playing again... it was probably the best gaming experience i have ever had.
*goes off to pout about how shitty UO became*

I've been playing since Renaissance so that's, what, five years now? If anybody plays on Great Lakes, shoot me a PM.

Ooo, that reminds me, vet reward time is coming up! :D

My house will fall within a month or 2 and its full of stuff. I played Great Lakes and will not return to UO so go get it. Lets just say it's in a land of snow and polar bears.

I played in the alpha and beta tests for UO and I must say that I never quite warmed up to the product after it was opened to the unwashed masses of humanity that came pouring in after its release.

Since then, I've been simultaneously attracted to and repulsed by every MMO that's come down the pike.

When it first came out, I loved it. Played it for about a year, but got tired of the constant patches that made doing things like smithing and such hard. Also, I came to hate how PKers and cheat/bug abusers would kill you and you'd loose everything on you. Sure, all your newbie stuff would be around, but once they broke you'd be screwed. After loosing a few houses they gave a few decent patches such as the ability to change locks and kick/ban people from your house, but by then I just couldnt care less. I never plan to play the game again. It's a great idea for a game, just poorly managed.
