I got volume 2 at a flea market. Anyways, here's how I see it:
Apparently, Sega's big-@$$ handheld, the Game Gear, was gaining quite a large amount of popularity in the late ninety's. So, as I'm guessing it, a nice little hotel chain named the Howard Johnson got the rights to publish thier "game tip" videos in order to further advertise both their hotel and Sega's product. Not only that, but in this time, the customers renting the room [or their kids, for that matter] could choose between having the video(s) to keep OR gaining unlimited access to a Game Gear at any time during your stay!!!
anyone else have these videos? could you possibly provide a more in-depth description of this wonderful happening?
