Eurocon 2006

Thought I'd pop this here as I'm helping with the organisation... just a shame the American forum members probably won't be able to make it...!

We are pleased to announce that Eurocon, probably the most long-established convention for classic games fans in Europe, will be taking place in England from 27th to 29th October this year. This will be the sixth event to be held since the inaugural convention in 1999.

If you want to take part in the private trading, and/or all the gamesplaying and competitions, then sign up for a place :)

(which are always limited and usually we have a max of 30 places)

If you just want to come and chat and buy stuff, then there's the public session on Saturday which has a small nominal fee to enter. As there should be a number of European collectors present, they always bring weird and interesting stuff with them.

Yeah, I think I'll be looking to book a spot for the full weekend asap - may aswell do it properly! :)
Gives me plenty of time to stock-up the trade-box too... ;)

Nice nice,i might fly in this year if it's not that big of a hastle.Germany last year was pretty easy so we'll see how goes this year. :)

I'll be bringing my PAL NES setup and a selection of games (mainly Mario titles, Excitebike, a couple of lightgun games, games by Rare, that kind of thing), but if you want to bring some other NES stuff, that would be great! Anything that's good in multiplayer would be especially welcome.
