Some guy in Canada is selling them on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6262555356&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
Do they work good? And is it safe for my cab. Also is it legal to sell on ebay.
This thread probably should be in the ebay forum, but it's a arcade question I think.
He's selling these about 3 days apart, except the "rare" ones. Those are BIN and about 2x to 3x the amount. They are cheap.

Yaton doesn't sell boots (knowingly) - those games should be totally legit. He has loads of MVS (and ST-V) games from a warehouse in Asia, most of which are in rough physical shape, so they get recased and relabeled. I have about 10 games from him and they're all legit and work very well. I've heard of people getting boots from him in the past; but when they've contacted him about it, he's asked them to return it and he sends out a replacement.
The only things to keep in mind with him are: his communication is rough sometimes, shipping can be slow (not always), and the insides of the games are often very dirty. Just open up the case (which I assume you'll do in checking for boots anyway) and clean the boards.
I recommend the guy.

When buying from Yanton keep this in mind. "100% original" or just "original" are legit carts, "100% working" or just "working" are bootleg carts. If there is a specific game your looking for go to his website http://arcademvs.com/ the prices on the site are usually a couple of bucks cheaper.
Some of his carts are very dirty while others are pretty good, You may have to clean the dirty carts to get them to work and Yanton is always willing to make things right.
I've placed a few orders with him and everything has worked out welll and you can't beat his prices.

cool man,
I just emailed him. My paypal account is 3 bucks shy of sending the payment for a cart that way. I thought I had 26+ in the account, whereas this morning shows 24 and some change. Doh!
I put stuff up in Buying and Selling, but no one is biting!
One thing I have is SSIII move stickers. I have SSII, so the moves aren't correct to the game I think.
Search Gatchman and there my Buying and Selling list is there. Thanks for the tip!

Sirs, Yanton is selling a Bomberman MVS cart for 35. Will it work fine? I want to get neo bomberman but the -neo cart is suffice and that cart is around 50+ bucks. I enjoyed a bomberman tourney or two in college on the TG16 and SNES in the dorms. Yes I'm a huge nerd.

Personally, I wouldn't touch boots. They can have glitchy graphcs and missing sounds or endings.Or even worse, like deleting the contents of your mem card.
Would you buy a bootleg Dreamcast game for a fiver? No. So you shouldn't buy boot MVS carts either.
I mean, the amount of original real carts that cost <$20 is amazing since Yanton showed up. Yeah, there are still a few games that go for a good bit more, such as Strikers 1945+ or Prehistoric Isle 2. But when you've just managed to get the whole King of Fighters 94 - 2003 for not much more than £100, it sort of off-sets the cost a bit.

I would not purchase boots at all. You can run into issues varying from stop working to graphic issues.
If you can stay away from boots, I highly recommend it!

hey guys, I got my Magical Drop 2 cart in the mail today
Is there something I am missing?
The game is truly a bootleg "100% Working" cart . It will not boot up on my cab at all. Neither slot 1 nor 2. Is there any advice to know so I can play my cool new game?

A little update. On neo-geo.com, a guy said to SCRUB the game senseless. His games are always grimy.
Is there a good way without hurting the game? It's not like it's a nes cart or somthing!

www.hardmvs.com
there are tutorials and such at the site.
you probably will not believe me when i tell you this, but you can ask over at neo-geo.com and they will all tell you that its true.. as long as the pcb boards do not have a battery on them, you can literally take them out of the case, put the bitches in a dish washer, and wash them. absolutely no damage is done to the boards (just thoroughly let them dry, or dry with a blow dryer) and if neither washing the boards, nor the tutorials on hardmvs work, then im not sure what else to tell you unless you are up for some soldering.
P.S. - oh and also, MVS carts are built like tanks, most people use fine grade SAND PAPER to clean the contacts on there carts. believe me, you will have a hard time hurting your game, they are in no way fragile.

I know I'm late in coming in on this discussion but I've bought several carts from Yaton and they all worked out great. The only thing I can't figure out is how to change the difficulty settings. When I do it in the options it still says level 4 at the bottom of the screen in most my games. I know that has nothing to do with his carts though...
