I was looking at my X'eye today. I'd had it for a couple years but never really examined it. When I bought it.. it came with an original power supply and controller and a really strange looking original RF adapter.
When I use the X'eye (which is rarely) I always hook it up using the component outs on the back (yellow/red/white) but I'm getting a poor picture lately and I think it's due to interference across the terminals or a bad video out.
I noticed there is also an "A/V cable out" on the back that simply looks like a smaller A/V plug like on the Gen 2 & 3. I know that Gen 2/3 A/V plugs only had about 3 or 4 actual pins on the male end; but what I'm wondering is if the X'eye had a "special" proprietary plug. While it looks like a Genny cable would fit in there.. wouldn't the X'eye require more pins for the built-in Sega CD functions?
Just wondering if this were true; and if so.. where I could get one? Thanks to all for your time and attention.
