As the topic says, when was it released in Japan?
I read on Wikipedia that it was released with Tobal 2 and Bushido Blade, which was released around march 1997.

I was about to say it was released the same time at Tobal 2. 1997 sounds about right.

1st. may, is that confirmed? I think its strange that Bushido Blade had support for it if the controller wasnt even made. Did it also had rumble feature or did that get added later?

It doesn't work in the US version and I'm not sure if it works in the Japanese version or not.

The rumble feature got added when they made the Dual Shock version, but then we lost that neato flight stick simulation mode.

There should be a Dual Analog with rumble feature too, which only use 1 engine for the rumble. Dual Shock uses 2 engines for the rumble, hence the word "dual".

You're right / I need to learn how to use google better.

Looks like it was always in the japanese versions and never in the US version. Any idea what games supported the rumble feature for it?

Now you have me wanting to track down a japanese dual analog pad :(
