I was just reading the Did YOU Know column and I noticed that it said that Punch The Monkey! Game Edition was released for both PSX and Saturn. I've looked and looked but I can't find any mention of the Saturn release. Is this an error?

:embarrassed: that's a cross between a typo and a factchecking mistake, lol. in my first draft, i had put a ? after the word saturn when an import shop here said they had a copy for the system. so i asked them to hold it for me until i got there a few days later, and i removed the ? from my text, prematurely it turns out. of course when i got there, i found out it was the psx version (gah!)- but i ended up unearthing a couple of other cool games (including a few "not for sale" titles). by the time i got back home and went through THAT stack of imports, i completely forgot to correct the error, finished and submitted the article :embarrassed:
as punishment, i'm having myself cloned, and when said clone reaches legal age, i'll have him run into a crowd of screaming mad Final Fantasy fans wearing a "moogles suck a**" tee-shirt. you can collect the remains and do as you see fit. anyway, get the ps version, if you don't have it already...

I'd settle for the PSX version, but I can't find it. Were ANY Lupin III games released in the US?

nope, and with good reason: except for punch the monkey, and the recent ps2 import...they pretty much stink, lol. well, the lupin character file disc set for the saturn is a nice resource, but bandai just rushed the others out to make a buck.
the really oddball thing is the timing of the cartoon series here comes at an awful time for licensing. the series isn't going to grab folks by the millions like dragon ball z did, so anyone who does decide to put out a lupin game is taking a bit of a risk... i know! let's call disney and have them make a movie with matthew broderick as lupin! that'll help a lot! ( ) :-D

I liked the NES game (the one where you run around on roof tops), but it was ridiculously hard. Someone really needs to translate that game into English...
