Jesus! I own all the Sega CD games he listed and Panzer Dragoon Saga. Shit, I'll just bundle them all up for a $10 spot if he his majesty can afford that. All needs to do is add Stadium Events for .25 cents and he's got a complete "want" list.

Dang! I had a Radiant Silvergun I was willing to let go for $5, but looks like he doesn't want that one.

Take a picture of them mixed up with some other common games and mail it to him. Then ask him to make an offer. Then mail him you already sold them for $AMOUNT_OF_HIS_LAST_OFFER$+5 to someone living close to you. Make sure you let him know that you would have sold them to him if he had offered more money but since the locals offered about the same you preferred the hassle-free pickup on cash \^_^/

Stadium Events for $0.25? rip off. Same game as World Class TRack Meet. Only offer $0.10 for that.

That sounds like a lot of work for very little pay off.

Supposedly it does exsist, but not in any version that you would recognize as smash brothers. I think the name was something like "Super polygon fighter" or something equally rediculous. It's more of a proof of concept that showed that the SNES isn't powerful enough to do what they wanted with the game. Any copy that still survives would be locked in nintendo's vault of doom.

And it would go for more than $10.

I dunno its not a bad idea.
you figure some idiot on that list has some games he doens't know what they're worth, he sees someone wanting them there, he needs beer money
score ;-)

dumber things have happened.

who's more the fool? the fool? or the fool who follows him?

Griking

How much does it cost to place a Craig's List ad?

It only takes one fool to take him up on his offer to make it worth it. And I work in retail, so I can vouch for the fact that there are millions of fools out there.

The idea that he has itself isn't so bad, but the idea to use craigslist as the venue is not a good one. People that use craigslist also use Ebay, so chances of finding a clueless individual bumping around on craigslist, that doesn't know anything about Ebay is pretty unlikely. Of course, stranger things can and do happen, so who knows.

But I'm thinking you do an ad like that, and you are going to get more grief from it than anything, with people trying to fake him out and get his hopes up, etc, etc.

Very true, Griking.

Everyone has to remember that somewhere out there, someone has one or more of the games on that list and has no idea as to what they are actually worth if sold on eBay or posted somewhere like DP. If just one of those people happens to find that list and thinks "Crap, I can get 10 bucks a piece for some of those old videogames that my son left here after he moved out."

Like Griking said, it'll only take one uninformed person to make that post worth the OP's time.

No way bro. That dude is in for way more negatives than positives. He isn't going to find anybody with those games willing to sell them at those prices and he's going to get alot of pranksters messing with him. Guaranteed. Way more grief than what it's worth.

He's asking for miracles, though.

Oh, if anyone needs a SHining Force III or Panzer Dragoon Saga, I can pick them up at a local store for $99 and $169 respectively. Don't all flood my PM box at once ! =D

He is stupid for asking for those particular games. He should he be asking for all snes game or whatever system and then find it like that.

No one is going to be like..."oh he wants this game and i Have it! SURE!!"

they are going to be like "oh he wants this game and i have it, but why this particular game *goes to ebay for a price check* WOAH!!!"

I liked whoever idea it was to email him with pics and say I got them, baiting him.

Then crush him with "Sorry I just sold it to a guy because he was more aggressive persuing the games than you were."

Ouch.

But I also agree... it's worth a shot too. You never know.

Still, the idea above... LOL
