I'm already playing Metal Slug 1 & 2 on my PSP via NeoGeo CD emulation, but I'd still buy this just to play the other games. Just hope SNK doesn't censor the US releases like they always do.

They probaly didn't do that because PS2/Xbox are "old" now and the PSP is fresh. You can play it on the go and not be tied to a TV (unless your like me and can skip that rule)

Oh, this is sweet news. I thought the GameBoy Advance game was awesome, the PSP should really do the series justice. And it is about time they threw all the games on one disc, there was only so much more milking they could do!

Yes, it's fantastic you have all those super-expensive titles on your Neo Geo. Some of us are happy for you. Now some of us can play these games on the PSP. Some of us are happy about that. Share in our happiness.

My poor little N-gage has been keeping me busy lately and I've managed to avoid the PSP, but this might be the proverbial straw. I was oh-so-tempted by Twisted Metal. Then Liberty City Stories. Then Katamari. Now this? Damn. Looks like I have to spend more money.

Here, here. Sure it may not being selling as quickly as the DS has been lately (especially in Japan) but the little bastard system certainly has been seeling strong. Anything that sell more then 5 million units in less then a year is clearly a success.

And if it's going to give people a corinary that they can't play Slug on their Xbox or PS2, maybe they should look to importing the volumes that didn't come out here (MS3 for PS2 and older Slugs for PSX) or rig up your Xbox for Emulation or something. Sheesh. It has nothing to do with being a "fanboy". Hell, I don't even own a PSP and I can still see this as nothing but a good thing.

The PSP is surley poor selling thats why I just got a second PSP. :P for a $150 :P not to mention I only paid $160 for my first one, they were used.

Perhaps you should go back and re-read my posts as you seem to be missing the point. I am saying that SNK/Playmore should release a complete MS collection for the masses, that’s what I’ve been saying all along. The cost of real Neo Geo titles are staggering (oh, and you can shove your sarcasm up your ass, I have MVS versions, not the absurd overpriced AES versions) so I think a compilation for the PS2/Xbox is a good thing.

I also find it amusing that you bring up money when you yourself have the funds to buy 2 PSP's.

But from a marketing perspective, the PSP is probably the ideal system out there right now to release this (killer) compilation on. 2D side-scrollers are unfortunately becoming the sole property of handhelds, and the PSP is almost surely the only handheld out right now that could handle this. And the PSP is for the masses; it's not an exclusive club, anyone with $250 can buy in.

You're right I don't have money to buy 2 PSPs my parents bought me the second one. I'm not saying that it would be bad to realse them on Xbox/PS2 but its better to release it on a handheld so you can play it any where and not just at home or in an arcade, giving another reason to buy it.

Yes you want it for Xbox/PS2 but they are releasing it on the PSP, so tell Playmore not us.
