How/where do you keep your loose cartidges?

I keep mine in tupperware containers. One container per system. It seems to work pretty well in that I don't lose the loose carts, but the problem is that it doesn't really provide any organization whatsoever. My wife made little labels for the tops of the contained saying what system they're for, so that helps a little, but not much.

I've been trying to think of a new way/place to keep them, but so far haven't really thought of anything.

Where do you keep your loose carts? How are they organized?

Heh, actually I did try the search feature. I searched for "loose". There was nothing in the first couple of pages so I decided to post it (of course there were like 60 pages total)

Thanks for the link! :D

I usually put em on plastic shelving units stacked up neatly, looks really nice.
I tend to use the eye level shelves for boxed stuff and use the bottom shelf for loose carts (makes an excelent balance for a tall shelf)

you can pick em up at target or walmart relaitively cheap and they come in all sorts of colours.

heres a few pictures of what I do
(pardon the mess I've been moving stuff around due to a new roomate blah)

you can see it better with this one though:

the bottom shelf (when organized) really helps keep the rest balanced no matter how high the shelf is.
plus it looks nice when organized

the key word is organized ;-)

it depends on the system

NES carts work great on shelving units desinged for CDs (so long as you have a flat surface, not a segmented surface)

most other loose carts also work in CD size sheving, but not quite as well for various reasons (no top label, non-flat edges etc)

i use tuperware containers for carts i have no room for on shelves. its kindof a last resort but they do the job
