EARN UNLIMITED STORE CREDIT, GIFT CARD & CERTIFICATE (http://cgi.ebay.com/EARN-UNLIMITED-STORE-CREDIT-GIFT-CARD-CERTIFICATE_W0QQitemZ5677538847QQcategoryZ47103QQs sPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
Too good to be true, I know, but I am just curious of the loophole that this guy claims to have found... That picture of his kid in front of the Christmas tree it pretty cool though... props for that one.
Anyways, just wondering if any of you game store employees/managers have ever had anyone pull this store credit thing before?

Well i found what you were talking about, but I dont see how that would work, as you need to ring the cards through the machines...
I am trying to think what you could do to get that much, but nothing pops in my head....I work at EB and ive only seen 1 gift card with $1000 on it but that was due to actual tradeins, i remember doing it.
Might I add he has an EB edge card which only works for trade ins. And something else there aswell that says it was from a trade in.
IDK though, its interesting ... but believable? I doubt...

Yes, very interesting. He has a good feedback record considering the nature of the item he is selling. The people seem to think that it may possibly work. $35 is alot for it. $10 would be more reasonable.

oh i got your package vector thanks a lot!! Hope you got yours today!
Umm yea back on topic, I am talking to someone else about this (eb/gs person). I think it would have to be something with altering the card or a signal malfuction. An employee would notice that in a heart beat for something that much to be put on a card!
Seems so odd, but also a lot the feedback about this was it looks like it will work but is going to take some effort etc.

I think it's more like where you trade in stuff for more than you bought it at somehow. Sort of like what everyone does at the Cheapassgamer forums.
Yeah, I got the game and I am very pleased! I'll leave you feedback a little later, just starting a MGO game right at the moment.

Apperently it involves two stores, ive been trying to find info on this.
So its two stores and some work. You might be on the right track vector...but to the upwards of $2000? that seems like ... a lot!

Yeah, he says there's nothing illegal involved, which manipulating the card or the signal would definitely be. It has to be some sort of massively elaborate buy-and-return deal involving many different stores, internet coupons, clearances, etc. I'm thinking of a thousand dollar initial investment plus running all over town, hassling with customer service exchange people, all for $50 in the end in store credit at a time.
IN THEORY, I'm sure it works, but I'd rather just work a few hours at my job and just buy whatever without the hassle.
Oh, and I just noticed he's charging $6 shipping/handling. What the hell? Isn't this just emailed to you? Weak.

It's gotta be too good to be true x_x. Another thing: The seller claims that you don't need to do anything illegal. I highly doubt that.
Regardless, I am very curious to see how this works. The seller seems to be accepting the vast majority of his best offers, so I am going to send him a $15 offer. If he accepts it I will gladly post the info here 8-)

They promise me hundreds of thousands of dollars through real estate tricks. I don't bat an eye.
They promise my penis will be 1-3" longer. I don't really care.
They promise unlimited video games... And I seriously consider going for it. x_x

No I didn't make the offer yet, I decided to just email previous customers, asking them to email me it for free. (trying to save a buck)
I'll let you know how it works out.

There's no way to "trick" the system 'cause the card is just an account number. The dollar value is stored in a central computer thousands of miles away. You would have to hack that central computer--not an easy task & also illegal.
This seller is probably selling "flipping". Buy a game for $1.00 at one store & trade it in for $10.00 Gift Card at another store.
Also frowned upon.

ahahahahaha LOL Man.. vididiots is on sad guy haha.
Anyways, this is too good to be true. I cant belive that so many actually payed $35 for this. Mostly are newbies with very low feedback tho.

I'm really tempted to buy this. However, it most likely won't work.

The only thing that leads me to believe buying low selling high is the black eb edge card, you can get that by returns only, not trade ins.
Still is very odd...

How about like 8 of us all chip in 5 bucks each and we can see? I'm sure it's a sham, but the curiosity is killing me.

Sounds interesting enough... Not saying I'd buy it, though, as I usually have enough cash on hand to buy whatever particular game I want from a particular store. Yes, I will admit, I have been known to go to pawn shops and other video game stores and buy games there for $3-$7 each and trade them in for $10-$30 (sometimes more) at a time... I can distinctly remember one incident in which I did that and ended up with well over $100 in trade credit in a matter of a week or so. For a guy that can't exactly get where he wants to go all the time, I'd say $100+ isn't bad for a week's game trading...
