NES + 20 games for $25 is a phenomenal deal.

Your collection sucks without Snake Rattle N Roll and no representative from the Mega Man/Double Dragon series. :)

For more specific suggestions, you might tell us what style of games you like.

I was thinking about getting Snake Rattle N Roll it sounds like a very fun game. I am looking in to getting some Mega Man games and I also want to get the first Double Dragons game. I like all most any kind of game for the NES. But I perfer action games and RPGs I was thinking about picking up the first Final Fanasty and the second and third Dragon Warrior's.

If you're getting into NES you'll definitely want to check out DP's top 50 NES games in Classic Discussions:

BTW Roller Ball is a nice score, one of my favorite pinball games.

Thanks for the link I well check that out. Yes I hear Rollerball is a great game. That is why I bought it can't wait to play it. I most likely will have to wait about a week for it to get to my house from ebay.

Can't go wrong there. You should also look into Zelda II, Faxanadu, and Battle of Olympus if you're an action rpg kind of guy. And as usual, everytime someone asks for NES recommendations I will give a shout out to North and South and Bionic Commando.

Yeah I was thinking about getting Bionic Commando. I have played it once on a collection of games and it was very hard but fun which is proof of a good NES game to me. I was never that big of fan of Zelda 2 but then yet again last time I played it I can barely read and there is a good bit of talking in that game. I have never heard of Faxanadu and Battle of Olympus I will have to check into them.

I always loved Kid Icarus. Something about that title music just screams good old NES days for me...and it is a great game to boot! :)

Rygar was a really good game too. I remember spending hours at my best friend's house playing this game.

Heck, there are so many greats for the system.

Faxanadu is cool but there is definitely some frustration with that game, namely some of the jumps later in the game (Mist world). A cool game with its own style. Plus it has wingboots. As an action game with RPG elements, I recommend.

You should try to get your hands on either Castlevania I or III. I second the Mega Man either 2 or 3 (the only ones I have for NES, but considered by many to be the best 2 for NES, YMMV). Actually, you almost can't go wrong with Capcom for NES IMO, tho there are a few stinkers here and there.

If you're into shooters, Gradius or Life Force. I prefer Gradius, but alot of people prefer Life Force.

For good 2-player action, Bubble Bobble, Dr. Mario...if you're into cuties and puzzlers.

I like Double Dragon 2 better than the first, but they're both good. Double Dragon 2 you can play co-op.

Everything on that top 50 list that I've played is good. I really like Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers. You will probably beat it first sitting, but it's just a fun game.

You can never go wrong with Contra.
A few other big names I like not on the list are Batman, Bump n Jump, Galaga, Gauntlet, Gyruss, Kung Fu, RC Pro Am, Super Off Road. All these games are on the cheap.

I'll throw Kickle Cubicle in the mix. Always a favorite puzzler of mine. And Super Dodge Ball.

Thanks for the list and the info on Faxanada I think that is how you spell it. I think I played Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers before I remember having fun so I will have to check into that one. I was thinking about getting Contra because Super C is awesome. I use to have Mega Man Three when I was like 7 I can't believe I got rid of it that was my favorite Mega Man game besides 7 for the SNES. I was also looking at Kung Fu and I know Galaga is an awesome game I did not know there was a NES version of it though. So thanks for the info.
