You know when you put a game on Ebay and you do the search, and you use the built in information thing, well alot of times, it will show a release date. And the date is usually an exact date. Does anybody have any idea whether or not it's even remotely accurate?
If it is accurate, then that's a pretty cool source for exact release dates.

I think it's funny that they have stock photos of the boxes of some pretty rare games too!

I wouldn't believe the dates they have. I mean, some of their stock photos are of unreleased mock-up box art, and weird variations that never came to be.

What do you think? Do you honestly think eBay would take the time to research this, or just pull a list of general dates from somewhere to save time and money?

Check out Muze (http://www.muze.com), which is where all the data on eBay is from. The dates for current items are as reliable as IGN and the like, which usually means within a few days of release.
