Hello guys,

I've been wondering about a game i had "back in the day" when snes was the hottest thing around, but can't remember the title....however it was one of those games that always stayed in my head, i've had lots and lot's af games but that one still has a special place in my heart, although i don't know why really....

Anyway, you played as some kind of fox and you had a side-kick, a little fat blue fella, looked a little like lolo ( from nes).

It was a very fun platform game, and i still have some good memory's of it, like some pieces of the levels i still remember clearly but most of it is blurry, like i said, it's waaaaaaaaaay back in the day....

I still remember a level where you have to run fast because airplanes are flying above you and are dropping bombs, then i remember a pyramide level in which your father/brother ( can't remember for sure) supposedly dies because he's holding up the falling "ceiling" for you, so again, you have to run and get the hell out of there.

I believe you alse had some kind of map to show you where you would travel next.

Ok those are the clearest memorys i have of it, other then some little things form levels and some music tunes i kinda remember.

Anyone have any idea which game i'm thinking of ? or maybe have some screenshots ?

Ohyeah the fox guy was kinda " hillbilly" like,ya know, with a straw hat i believe.

hey thanks, it is indeed the game i was thinking of !

aw man, those screenshots bring back some longtime memories for sure, was it really that good a game or is my memory making it out to be better then it actually was/is ?

Sometimes the mind can play weird tricks on you lol, i have some fond memories of games i used to play a lot, that i later found out were actually crap games that should've never seen the day light LOL

I guess when your young you're not that critical about it, infact i'm still not really....i don't b*tch if the game has a little slowdown or the gameplay is hard at some points or camera is annoying....i just don't bother on things that easily i guess, yet a lot of people want everything to be perfect these days or they won't even give the game a try....

Well, I have yet to play it, but it a "hot" item on my want list back when I started collecting SNES 2+ months ago. I remember ads for ALF back in the day, and it looked damn good.

Even though I haven't play it yet, I'd venture to say it's probably a good game -- as it's received solid reviews from magazines back then and it just looks like it plays well.

Wow...that one totally slipped under my radar. I'm going to have to throw it into the queue of games that I need to play. It looks pretty darn interesting.

Actually no, I've never played it. All I did was load up a list of ALL Super NES games at allgame.com and scroll through it... occasionally clicking on a game that just simply sounded like it could be what Wrestlemaniac was describing. Luckily, I never had to go further than the "A" letter games to find it. LOL

After hearing about it and seeing screenshots though, it's definitely on my purchase list now.

Looks like my question sparked a lot of interest with others here LOL

Even though it's been quite some years since i had it, i can definatly remember the fun i had with it and recommend it to everyone that loves old 2d platform games ( and who doesn't ? :D )

i never found that game again actually, i've had lot's of snes'ses through the years, and i go to flea markets a lot and i never seen it anywhere again, pretty weird....ok so i didn't REALLY look / search for it though, but still, whenever i go to flea markets i just have to stop and look whenever i see classic nintendo stuff, so i'd like to think i would have run into it if it was a popular game....

It's an R6 according to DP... and truly pretty scarce game. Like the other Titus games (Realm, Incantation, Sink Or Swim, etc.) this one is rare.

Oh yeah, if you like this you may want to check out Prehistorik Man -- Titus' other excellent platformer.

Lots of underrated games on SNES...

I remember that game Arty Lightfoot I believet it was. I to played that one awhile ago and I had alot of fun but I foget the story and everything. I should get a copy sometime I remember just having so much fun but then yet again as you said your mind can play tricks on you. But even if it does suck it well me a great game to have in my collection.
