This CD was sold for years here on the site. Basically it's a collection of scans and screenshots, and some videos. Pretty nifty resource, for some reason I never picked one up but I bet a lot of the old timers around here have them.
yes, it's the official Digital Press CD-ROM by Sean Kelly from the year 1997. Double CD set, CD 2 includes old (USA) video gaming adverts, mainly from and for Atari related.
CD 1 is basically the DP Collectors guide on CD, including VCS, 5200, 7800, Coleco, Intellivision, Computer, Vectrex, Handhelds, and much more. Russ Perry got his own directory on this CD, where he shows Radofin's cartridges, including the cartridge 'Tank War', which had joystick ports on the cart for multi-player option.
Excellent CD. Usually fetches far more on ebay.
Here's mine on photobucket, whilst the RoD is down:

Glad I snagged it cheap then. I remember seeing these on the site, but I never got around to getting one. :)

would be cool if they made an updated one
even though i have the printed guides, it would be cool to have them on cd - with some extra content like screen shots and other stuff

Heh, yep, I'm the only person who has a directory on the CD named after them...
I think Sean swore he'd never do another one given how much work it was to put that one together, but it WOULD be something cool to see -- a companion to the guide with scans & photos of items. That would be AWESOME*.
(* not that I'm volunteering though...)
