Nintendo Power price question

does anyone know how much does the first issue goes for. it's in decent shape but doesn't have the zelda map.

I don't believe it's worth a ton of money, 5-10 bucks maybe. Of course, you can always try searched "completed listings" on Ebay to see what some of them are auctioning for, which I am too lazy to do myself right now.

I have a complete collection, so I have pretty familiar with NP prices.....I got my copy of issue 1 for $4-5 shipped, so it isnt worth too much....i hear there are two versions of the cover, well actually just the message in the bubble on the cover and the 2nd version may be worth more...i dont know if it does exist or the difference in price though...

issue 2 is the big money issue, and even that, in great shape i only paid $10 shipped for.....everything else is worth much less...

...i picked up 90 NPs for about $0.13 a piece.....

$5 is kind of on the low side, but $10 is quite reasonable. $20 is certainly not unheard (pretty common, I'd say) of for a mag in really good condition.

Is that due the cover? I remember reading that it was a big problem for Nintendo since it had Simon Belmont holding Dracula's severed head(whose eyes were glowing red), which gave kids nightmares.

I saw Fun Club News #1 go for $1000 on eBay once. That was quite ridiculous.

The Final Fantasy strategy guide issue also goes for good money.

I so wish I hadn't thrown out so many issues of NP. I had a ton and didn't have space for them as a kid so I went through them and only kept the ones with reviews/guides for games I actually owned. I threw out so many. :(
