So long Starcraft Ghost?

According to this (http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/698/698435p1.html) article, Blizzard has 'indefinately suspended' development on Starcraft Ghost, for current-gen consoles, to concentrate development on next-gen systems. But it didn't specify which games they were concentrating on..

Anyone else smell a 360 version of this and World of Warcraft? The WOW smell is definately getting stronger! :D

This was a long time coming. It's been months since we last heard anything and honestly i'm glad. Ghost wasn'texactly shaping upto be a real winner and Blizzard isn't a company for losers.

yeah, im not surprised at all. if you knew blizzard, you wouldve put money on this game not coming out.

im still very sour about their cancellation of Warcraft Adventures, but ghost wont be missed.

There was a playable version at E3 last year. Funny thing is, I was talking about this game 2 days ago with some people, and saying that it has to eventually come out, but will never surpass the DN: Forever fiasco.

I had high hopes for this title once Swingin' Ape Studios (our friends who brought us Metal Arms) took over the project. But it was probably too little too late. Once a game drags on for that long, it looses its identity. Last I saw of it, it had morphed from a stealth/action game to a 3rd person shooter.

*yawn* When will anything new come from Blizzard. It's like they've been hiding everything in the universe from us. It only took a few years to go from Warcraft to Warcraft 2 + Expansion. We've already been waiting 5+ years for a Starcraft II, a few years for a new Warcraft or Diablo game, and like forever on any side titles such as this one. I'm sure it'll all be huge and fantastic at the end but there's just so much waiting that I forget about these titles until someone posts another topic on it.

Well, it seems people keep buying (and playing) Diablo, Starcraft, et al nonetheless.
