I never even heard of KC Munchkin until Atari sued Magnavox. Nice going. I found KCM to be superior to VCS Pac Man, BTW.
Check out that screenshot. That sure isn't KC Munchkin, and it doesn't look like any Pac Man game I've ever seen, either.

Niiiice.
And yeah, I think the lawsuit helped Magnavox a lot more than hurt them. KC > 2600 Pac Man
I especially liked how Codemasters (under Galoob in the US) kicked Nintendos butt, hehe.
(Nintendo Lincoln's motto: 'Fuck with us and we will destroy you'... (what an idiot)...I DON'T THINK SO!!!)

Steve Kent's Ultimate History of Video Games also covers a variety of VG related cases, such as "A Case of Two Gorillas".

Great book. But he never mentions the Atari Vs. Magnavox lawsuit.
As much as Atari gained from Magnavox, you'd think they would've let KC Munchkin (which was better than Atari's version by a longshot) slide.
