Just wondering if anyone knows how much($/£)/how rare the adaptor to connect a PC Engine LT to a Super CD-Rom2 is please?

I've always thought the LT is one of the finest consoles ever created. But I'd really want to use a CD with it.

And a mod to enable the TV tuner to pick up a terrestrial PAL signal would be a wonderful (and probably impossible) thing.

Somewhat easier to find is the normal PCE CD interface and unit... grab an Arcade Card Pro and you've got a fully loaded system. Not quite as slick looking as the PCE LT + Adapter + Super CD-ROM, but a heck of a lot cheaper.

On the outside, the adapters can run anywhere from $50-$100; best bet is to find a guy in Japan who can hunt one down for you.

$50-100 sounds ok to me.

I've only seen one pic of a LT & SCD2, and it looked so damn cool.

Is there a battery pack available that could power the combination? Even if there's only a couple of hours worth of power.

Unfortunately no batteries... however, if you scour around on the net, there was a guy many years ago who hacked a AA battery pack into the back of a Backup Booster (scan for the Turbo List archives).
