Stupid Nintendo Power,

They had an offer that if you registered a certain number of games you'd get 3 free issues of Nintendo Power. I registered the games (and gave them all my contact info, which I never do because of privacy issues).

It took FOREVER for my first issue to come, and it was the chibi robo issue (I think). I wasn't particularly impressed with the content, it was pretty flimsy stuff, but it was free so who cares (March). So, I get my next issue and its the one with Mario and Luigi on the cover (May I think) with a sticker on it saying it's my last issue. WTF? I'm missing an issue.

I was thinking of actually getting the subscription renewed, but if they can't do 3 issues right, I sure as hell don't trust them to do 12 correctly.

I'm checking out their website now to tell them everything I just posted here. I'll post their response, if any.

edit: I'm trying my best to find a Contact Us link - but I can't find anything so far

edit 2: Oh, found it. I was at NintendoPower.com, but Nintendo.com has a contact link with a webform (http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/webform.jsp)for nintendo power

There's a form that "my nintendo" members can fill out to replace missing issues. I filled it out. I'll post if I actually get a copy.

I have had a subscription to them for years and I have never missed any issue. If you do get the issue, will you subscribe or is it off at this point?

Heh, that kinda happened to me, except they sent December, February, then sent the January issue. The January one said "Last issue". LOL

I'll probably subscribe, but I think I'll wait until Fall to do it. We're moving from one city to another this summer. Last time we moved and I had a magazine subscription, GMR ended up sending half it's issues to the old address

I received an email from Nintendo:

Hello and thank you for contacting Nintendo,

We're sorry to hear of the problem you've encountered. Using the information you encountered, I was able to access your file. It looks like you were able to resend the issue you missed to yourself through your MyNintendo account.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Thank you for your e-mail.
