Ok, so I've got my wireless access point set-up, I can get online using my PSP for internet browsing and for downloading Mega Man maps. The problem is I can't ever seem to get Twisted Metal: Head On to work. It'll let me connect to the lobby but everytime I try to join a game it never lets me. I tried testing my network connection and it tests fine. Is it possible that my router is not connected right? Has anyone here had any similar problems with the PSP? It seems to work and connect fine any other time. Thanks for any help.

Don't mean to steal your thread.
What is a cheap easy way to get my PSP on the web wirelessly. Since I got a second PSP this would be more usefull then going to the coffee shop with my grandma  .

The only way is to get a wireless router, unlike DS which you can just buy a usb adaptor for.

Yea, what I did was buy a $39 Netgear wireless router that was on sale at Best Buy (hell, it might've even been $29, I can't remember exactly) a few weeks ago. It seems to be working great as I get 100% signal strength on the PSP.

I have played Twisted Metal Head On online just fine. If you can connect to the lobby then your router does not seem to be blocking any of the ports needed to communicate. Unless when you jump into a game it uses another port to transfer the game data -- I do not know if that is the case or not.
Have you tried it with and without WEP enabled? I doubt that would make a difference, but it is one of those things you could rule out as the cause of the problem.
Do you have any more online games you could try, or is Twisted Metal the only one?
Finally, have you called the Sony number (the one in the PSP box). I know they are usually dumb as rocks but if you try 4 or 5 times you usually get someone who can help.
But the only thing I can think of is there is some download port that your router is blocking. And so the game cannot download data to your PSP to play the game.
Good luck! I have a PSP, WEP and AirPort post on my blog, and I swear I get 3 comments a week about setting it up with a wireless router. I have setup a half dozen or so PSPs for people and never have I run into problems.
But it is obvious that a percentage of people are having problems. Though it sounds to me like you have gotten past the largest hurdle already.
