Baldurs Gate DA 1 & 2, Final Fantasy X (yukky), Final Fantasy X2 (even yuckier), Bard's Tale, Grandia 3, Jade Empire, Star Wars KOTOR 1 & 2, Future Tactics (wouldn't call it an RPG really, more a strategy game), Romance of the 3 Kingdoms VIII, LOTR 3rd Age, Skies of Arcadia, Fallout, Morrowind Elder Scrolls 3, and probably a few others.

I believe just these:

Ys VI
Ys III (PS2 import)
DQVIII
FF10
FF10-2
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

I want to play SO3, but it may be quite awhile before I start it.

Sylentwulf that is amazing. I have trouble finishing one because my attention span is so erractic. Which one would you say was the best? Do you play one straight thru or a few at a time?

a quick mini poll.
For some reason I believe most people that like rpg's enjoy reading books. Do you or any other rpger's read alot of books?

Depends on your idea of an RPG I guess.

Eternal Mana 2
Eternal Arcadia
Grandia 2
Grandia 3
Final Fantasy X
Sakura Taisen 1-3, V (do these count?)
Super Mario RPG
Tales of Rebirth

Probably a few more I'm forgetting

Kingdom Hearts
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy X-2
Grandia II

None within the last year though. Just don't have the attention span for 'em any more.

Lets see... trying to think back.

Will soon be adding Kingdom Hearts 2 to the list, and then the new Valkyrie Profile in a couple of months. 8-)

I also have Xenosaga 1, Disgaea, and Tales of Symphonia, but I haven't gotten around to them. I keep going back and forth on renting or trading for Suikoden 5, because the series has been in a steep downslide since 2 and 4 burned me bad.

The Great:

Dragon Quest VIII (my vote for RPG-of-this-generation so far)
Final Fantasy X *ducks*
Final Fantasy X-2 *runs and hides*
Kingdom Hearts

The Decent:

Grandia 2 (DC version)
Final Fantasy XII
Suikoden 3

The Crappy Crap:

.hack part 1
Suikoden 4

Jeez, I played more rpgs on the PS1 than I did this entire generation. And I don't like the genre any less than I did back then. I guess they just haven't been putting out titles that appeal to me, and Square-Enix's "B-list" titles were complete trash this generation, whereas they had some fricking awesome ones in the SNES/PS1 generations.

Whoa, that's not my list of completed :) I'm only at about 25 or so. That's a full list of rpg's.

When I had my PS2, all of the usual common ones. Since then.....

KotOR #1 (didn't bother to finish #2 -_- )
Elderscrolls Morrowind (central plot)
Fable
Sudeki
Elderscrolls Oblivion (central plot.....I'm still adventuring around with side quests)

I'm waiting for a PS2 price drop so that I can pick up a new slim and all of the more recent PS2 RPGs that I've missed. I used to be an RPGer, but my systems of choice lately don't cater to RPGers.

From your list I've beat only Dark Cloud and X-Men Legends, not a big standard RPG fan obviously.

I have yet to beat or even play any current-gen RPG. The closest thing would be the CAR-PG Road Trip, which I just beat on Monday.
