Then open an alternate account that no one knows about for bidding only. You can have as many ebay accounts as you want, as long as they remain in good standing. I have several buying accounts, which come in handy especially for birthday/holiday gifts. If you're a seller with (private) feedback, it makes it look like you have something to hide.

One, there are no more Western Union Money Order Auction Payments. That was Bidpay, and it closed last year.

Two, if the buyer says that you should ship it using his or her FEDEX account, there's a chance that you'll ship it, and they refuse to pay for the cost, so you'll have to foot the bill yourself.

Say "yes I'll take your WU MO payment" & then keep the money (if it actually is money... probably will bounce). Reverse-scam the scam artist.



At the very least, this scam artist will have wasted ~$1.00 in postage sending you a counterfeit money order.

Its a scam, 99.99% sure. For some reason all the Nigerian scammers are always located in England somewhere (atleast thats what they tell you). They also give you a english phonenumber sometimes.

Unless he/she wont pay you with Paypal dont do it or else you will be scammed.

I had someone also use this same scam on me around xmas- they wanted me to send them my premium 360, saying something about their son being in christian school, and paying via paypal or western union, and using their fedex account-they were adament about that!..

i looked around and found almost the same letter exactly at another forum, and sure enough it was a nigerian scam!

check and see if theyre still registered-not that it means much, but report them! they mightve stolen that account..

and tread carefully, some stories i read over at a forum about these nigerian scams said some of these people are dangerous.. and they can find your info via ebay easily..
