I don't know where to put this Topic, so i'll make it to here.
First question:
Does anyone know that does Europe release Dragon Quest - The Journey of the Cursed King contain Final Fantasy XII demo?
Second question:
Does anyone know that can I play Japanese SNES with my Europe/Pal AC Adapter (Japanese is 110V and Europe/Pal is 220V) without that my Japanese SFC goes broken?
Thanks, Captain Qb

I can't answer specifically, but the input power doesn't matter as long as the output is the same. If Japanese systems require 9V at 1.3A, like UK systems use, it should be fine.

Dammit,..
So I think I have to take that risk.
There are two ways:
1.) When my mother gives me that Japanese SNES it will go broken
or
2.) I'll play happily Final Fantasy VI and (maybe) Dragon Quest 1 & 2
But thanks Fibblewith, Captain Qb.

I just found this on Wikipedia.
Transformer Output: 10 volts DC, 850 mA (NTSC), 9 volts AC, 1.3 A (PAL)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Famicom
So a UK power supply probably wouldn't work with a Super Famicom. But I'm not an expert on these things, I don't know what a Japanese system would use.
If your Super Famicom has a power supply, you should be able to find a UK/JAP power converter to plug the power supply into. I'm assuming you're in the UK.

PAL and JAP SNES/SFC power supplies are not interchangeable due to the PAL SNES being AC and the SFC being DC.
That said, just use a 10v SEGA AC adapter (like, from the Master System or Mega Drive) and it will work - it's what I use.

There you have it. Don't trust people who have no idea what they're talking about. (i.e. me)

So I just put my MegaDrive AC adapter to Japanese SFC and it will work without that SFC goes broken?
And Fibblewith i'm living in Finland ^.^ and so my english isn't so good..

Hey, dreamcaster.
Does Australia use 220V like the Europe or 110V like Japan and USA?
Thanks, Captain Qb.

okay guys here is your answer,
Japans mains voltage level is 100V rms at 50Hz or 60Hz depending if you are in Western Japan or Eastern Japan.
Most of Eurpoe (including the UK) have a mains voltage level of 220V rms at 50Hz. This is where your problem is. You need a step down transformer to convert 220V to 100V (110V is exceptable). Basically you need one of these...

It usually does not matter whether the device needs 50Hz or 60Hz. Look on the plug pack, that will tell you what is needed to go into it.
The other thing that you could do is to go to a electronics store and buy a plug pack that will give the right voltage output so it wont blowup your SNES. If you have no idea, just take the whole SNES in and say that you want a plug pack that will work with it.
I hope this makes sense, just say if it does not.
Also, Australia uses 220V at 50Hz. This means Europe and Australia can easily use eachothers item without worry about voltage levels. That why i import a lot of stuff from the UK.

Ok, but I guess that I have to buy Japanese SFC with wires and then buy that 220V -> 110V adapter..
But, If I buy Japanese SFC for 100 yen without wires, Could I then play SFC with Sega Master System / MegaDrive AC adapter, like Dreamcaster said..?
Thanks, Captain Qb.

that depends on the votage levels needed by the console. look on the bottom of the console. As long as the sticker is still there it should say something like 12VDC 1.2A (please note that these are random numbers i thought of). This means that the console needs 12V of DC voltage at 1.2Amps. the plug pack (the thing that plugs into the wall and then into the console) you need, needs to give out this voltage level. The plug pack should have a sticker on it saying what voltage level it is, from this you can determin if the plug pack you have is the correct one.
The safest bet, as i said in my previous post, is to probably go into an electronics store and take the console with you. Ask the salesperson a question like "Hello, I have this video game console that i bought from Japan. I need a plug pack that will work with it. Could you please find one that will work. Thankyou". They should then have a look at the console and read from the sticker what it requires. If they are realy helpful then they will step you though what they are doing and teach you for next time.
If you are spend a lot of money on the console, it is better to be safe than sorry. It is rather hard to explain in words what is required, thats why im suggesting that you vist someone with experience so that nothing goes wrong.
