... that gives me an idea... get Saturn. Spray paint , hmm, say Green, for argument's sake. Sell on ebay as ultimate collector's item! :P

Nope, the Saturn is a darker grey with blue buttons. Looks nicer than the white one, imo.

I prefer the look of the white saturn myself. And it looks good next to the Dreamcast :-)

The only reason I sold my White Saturn was because I've got a double switched Saturn already, and I couldn't be bothered with the expense of buying a step-down converter to get it to work. I kept the games that came with it though - Metal Slug, Streetfighter Zero 1 and 2, KOF 95 & 96, House of the Dead . . . all good fun! :D

It is pretty crazy. It was my auction . . I am just hoping that he pays up! Seems like he will though ... he's bought from me before. He's emailed me about payment . . apparently he's had some trouble with other sellers, so he wanted to buy from someone he trusted :-)

Makes all the effort I put into my auctions seem worthwhile when I get something like this :D

Congrats Vroom, you made out good. :)

Since you're a Megadrive Mage, you wouldn't by any chance have a "Mega Key" would you? I'm looking for a converter so I can play my copy of "The Wily Wars" on a US Genesis.

:embarrassed:

I *did* have a Mega Key 2... but a few months ago I sold off my Megadrive collection and bought a digital camera. It was a really tough decision, but in the end I wasn't really doing much with Megadrive collection any more since my Saturn collection was expanding and taking over my attention.

I got a reasonably good price for it, but as I sold it all in one bulk lot I didn't get anything like what I could have done if it all went separately (I had Alien Soldier, Mega Man, Snatcher, Yu Yu Hakushu, Bare Knuckle 3, Snake Rattle and Roll, and loads of other stuff in there. Some woman bought the whole lot for about $800 as a Christmas present for her partner. Now that's the sort of wife that I am looking for!!!!)

You used to be able to pick up Mega Key converters fairly cheap on Ebay, but now that people have realised that they can be used on Nomads the price has shot up. You'd be looking at about $30 or so these days.

do you need a step down key if you live in North America and have a White Saturn?

Proabably not since you also have low voltage. The power supply in the UK is 240V, which will fry a Japanese Saturn. However you should probably ask someone from the US before you take my word for it.
