how rare are the psp kiosk disc.
i got one today and cant find any info on them.
its disc #1 if that helps any.

Very much like the kiosk disks you would see on PS2. It's the first UMD I've seen with multiple playable demos.

I just took it out of my PSP pile and the disk is Pursuit Force Demo Disk. I guess this one only comes with this game. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

The Pursuit Force Demo Disk is not rare by any means. It went out to the members of the PlayStation Underground.

Sure it's rare. All kiosk discs are pretty damned hard to come by. I'll bet that if you threw it up on eBay you'd get a few bucks for it.

I would offer to buy it from you but I would have absolutely no idea what to offer.

Usually the PS2 kiosk discs either found their way home with gamestore employees, or the Sony rep took them with. I think Nintendo used to strictly regulate the distribution of kiosk discs.

But yeah, you have something kinda uncommon there. I don't know how many of them are going to find their way into the collector's market-since that's all they're most likely going to be good for-but I'd hang on to it for a bit. It's the first of its kind, and if they're not supposed to make it outside of a retail establishment, you could be holding a nice little item.

There should be a few thousand of these out there, and i can't imagine the demand is going to be insane. On top of that, the video is compressed so much that it's unwatchable...

and i just ask if they have any odd and end stuff laying around that i may be looking for.
and it just so happend he had that disc.

I guess the general rule on these demos is, the more interesting the game, the more valuable the disc.

A Daxter demo will be worth more than a Barbie Horses Around demo.

Reviving an old thread to ask a question. I found the PSP kiosk disc #1 at a resale shop for six bucks last year. I just got discs #3 & #4 from ebay. Would like to have a complete set, but searching and googling for PSP kiosk disc #2 results in no relevant hits.

So my question is....does anyone have or know anything about the existence of a PSP kiosk disc #2? Also, is there a #5, #6, etc? Given how much people like to catalog these things, I'm surprised at how little info there is out there. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

That's what I was told about the red label Game Factory cart for the Sega Genesis...I'd like to see a picture, or at least someone confirming that they have the #2 disc.

Huh, i don't seem to have any PSP demos at all (even the freebies gamestop gave away). I don't know if i crammed them in a box somewhere, or if i gave them away.

I know i had 2 psp kiosk UMDs, i'm fairly certain they were 1 and 2. They both came in blank white paper pouches. I'm sure there was a seond one, because the sony rep handed me the first UMD when she was putting the second one in the kiosk. I guess it's possible i ended up with 2 different copies of 1 though...

When they turn up, i'll post a pic.

I think you may have had two copies of #1, the white sleeve seems exclusive to that particular kiosk disc. And I don't know how authoritative this site is:

but it lists all of the PSP discs by number (well, most anyway, as disc #4 is not listed), and if you search for "kiosk" it goes from #1 to #3. Perhaps a #2 was never made, or never released for some legal reason? Any Sony insiders out there that can fill us in?

Just like the disc sleeves to Gamecube kiosk 17 and 25(or atleast 17) are finally starting to show up after years of people thinking they didn't exist, I'm sure that Psp kiosk #2 will eventually pop up as well. It may not be this year or next year but one day it will show up.

Rich, I do believe you purchased those Kiosk Discs from me off of e-bay. I have another set listed up there now. Anyways I double checked through all my stuff and I still haven't come across any of disc #2. However I did find a variant that's very interesting.

I have a "PSP System Best Buy Kiosk Disc #4" (UCUS-98709) as opposed to "PSP System Kiosk Disc #4" (UCUS-98665) The Best Buy one seems to be a trimmed down version of the regular #4. It appears to remove any movie clips or music and a few of the demos. Thought you may all find that interesting. Best of luck on your search for the mysterious #2. lol

I was recently informed there is the, Yggdra Union (Trade demo) ULUS-80020 UPSS-022190, by ragnar14, he provided the data for it, so im gonna assume it really exists for ntsc.

I was also informed of a demo by some ebay seller, but other then swearing it was a demo to me, 3 times, he provided no data, and no clear pictures of it.

Any truth to if this truly exists anybody? As of right now, im treating it as a rumor.

I hope it comes back up because I need some info on a few PS2 demos. As for the test demos, I sold test copies of Killzone and World Tour Soccer 06 alittle over a year ago. I still occassionally see them pop up on ebay but I haven't started collecting them yet.
