I found this today at GameStop, complete, for $30. I'm pleased with this, of course, but after closer examination I'm pretty sure that I'm missing a few things from the 'Okage' box. The only thing in there was the little standee things, with no sight of the other stuff (memory card holder and analog cover things, I think). Anyways, I'm wondering how this might affect the value of the collection as a whole. Also, if you had something like this with just a few missing pieces, would you keep it or try to get rid of it in favor of finding a complete one somewhere else along the line?

I'd just keep it and say it was complete. I mean, who else is going to know that it's not TOTALLY complete? A couple random people on an internet forum? Who cares? I'd rather pay 30 dollars and try tracking down the missing pieces later then spend 60 dollars to brag about it.

I saw this item complete, boxed, wrapped, everything at EB Games about 3yrs ago for $80 I think. Now, remember that includes the whole collection of the series for the Playstation. I wanted to get it, but was working at a minimum waged job, not even 32hrs a week, was still in high school, and was broke. So there was no way it was happening then and there. But BOY if I find that set again I'll snatch it up. :)
As for selling it, no. It's not worth doing it unless we're talking big cash returns. I always purchase what I find. If I don't already own it, I keep it; if it's a duplicate then I sell the uglier of the two or the most incomplete.

I'd buy it and try to track down the missing bits if they're that important to you. When I bought my copy it was missing the analog stick covers but I later found a friend willing to ship them to me for free.
Same with my copy of Lunar 2, bought it missing the soundtrack. Later bought the sound track off a kid trading it in to GameStop for $10.
Actually little extras like that are awlays a good opertunity to buy an expensive limited edition box set for an inexpensive price. You'll almost always find someone who doesn't care about the pack ins if you're diligent enough.

Few years ago I saw one for $29.99 but it was missing 2 of the knob covers and it had the damn big sticker price tag from FRY's so I PASSED.
Been searching forever then found another one used for 39.99 was complete but box had some wear so I decided to pass on it but few days later I called the store to ask them to hold it but they sold it already.
So until few months saw another one that's beautiful but $65 so I passed until 2 months ago a friend of mine got one for sale without any price tags on it so I snagged it for $50 from him.
Now there's another store near me that has brand new one sealed for $39.99 but but box has tiny dent and rip from the stupid cabinet :(. And they also have a used one for 29.99 but is missing all of the bonus items in the box :( ....

Arc was the last WD game released. And as such is still pretty commonly found. WD was still selling new copies up until their closure and GameStop/EB's and other chains still had them new up until about a year ago. (TRU finally blew them out maybe a year and a half ago). Its value will be affected if your gonna try and sell it off and hope for some level of 'top' dollar for it. The RPG collector is the fickle anal one that wants everything with it, especially a WD game which was known for the copious amounts of stuff that came packaged with.
All in all the 30 was a good deal even though its not 100% complete. If you really want the Memory card and the analog nubs you can hunt around on ebay. Those things pop up loose from time to time.

Working Designs is GONE!!? Geez.. shows how much I know; but I haven't visited their site in over a year.
I have a complete copy.. I'll dig it out and let you know what you're missing.. because from what I can recall right now.. you're missing more than the mem card holder and the analog button covers. It seems to me like there was a map or something.. but I could be thinking about Lunar 2.
