Don't say yes to the 360 update for College 2k6

Yesterday I picked up college 26k. All was fine. The second time I played it it said that an update was availible.

Since then I haven't been able to play the game online or offline. The ref never throws the ball up. AT first I thought it was a bad disk. Then I removed the hard drive the game played normally. I deleted all 2k6 files from my hard drive and still got the problem.

I went to the website and numerous people have this problem. The forum people say the only way to resolve this is reformat your hard drive. This is unacceptable because I have alot of hours playing oblivion.
Most of us are screwed. People are pissed. Just thought let you know.

Great game though when it works.

I am also hearing that other online games are effected. Ex users unable to connect to play or getting kicked out.
College 2k6 soon to be 19.99:) No wonder I saw 4 used at my local game store.

I'm sure the patch will be fixed quickly if so many people are being affected by it. And as an alternative to reformating, you could always not-play the game?

ok well he bought the game, and now he shouldn't play the game he bought? because of a update the company provides that will force him to delete his hard drive.
