Well, shes gone, as of April 3rd 2006.

Microsoft was actually pretty fast. They did not require my receipt, it might of helped that I registered my XboX 360 online.

Mailed me a box... I had to pick it up due to the fact I'm never home, I'm a slave to work.

The box itself was a box withen a box... with printed instructions, a round seal sticker, and a new plastic static protection bag, place the system only in the bag, fill out the printed instructions with your address name and etc information... close the box and seal it. Return slip was provided, you just fill out your address information, and copy down the tracking number.

They had other boxes, ones I was not sent, ones with slots for power supplies, and controllers if requested, my box was only big enough for the system itself, and they only wanted it, without the HD.

Weird thing, I don't get the seal... since they send only one, I myself open a box on both sides.... anyway, taped the other end, I'll let you know if they had a problem with that.

Purolator said they would have it tomorrow morning. Very fast.

I called Purolator, and it finally arrived on the 12th!
I was at work, but picked it up on the way home.

MASSIVE box, tons of packing paper for it, well packed for sure.
Apparently, they added in a free HD for me, although I'm going to be honest about it and let them know I received a new unit with a HD.

All in all, a great experience!

Although... I haven't plugged it in quite yet.... OBLIVION TIME THOUGH!

Maybe you don't get it but the 360 is an addiction and Achievement points are virtual crack. Mmmmm mmm good. So without them everything is boring.

Tits = Boring
Tits + 5 Achievement points = Priceless.

It's kind of sad really.

LOL , I can't believe you went to the tits/360 comparison. The points really are like crack though, that and the games are just getting better and better.

After Oblivion... nothing else matters.

I'll survive, just nothing beats playing it on a 50 inch LCD with HD..

I'm trying damnit, with Dragon Warrior V on SNES...

It's what I keep trying to explain to people who have yet to own a 360. The achievement points are a touch of genious. They keep you playing....and get you to play other genres. I gained quite a few fast achievements last night as I put the finishing touches to the Mages Guild "count and necromancer" story line.

Another great thing about the 360? The "external" HD. I'd hate to think about ever having a system replaced with a new one.....and kissing your achievements away because the HD had to go with the console.

you are not the only one that has gotten a free hard drive back with their 360. I have talked to three others with the same story.

Same here, seems like they're just giving them away. I guess that's why they're worthless for trade-in.

Sounds like everything went well - that's good to hear. There's nothing that'll keep a customer coming back like be treated with respect.

I never thought I'd say it, but good job microsoft! :)

Did you get a core or premium back? I got a core back which kinda bummed me, but I was happy because everything took only 4 days with next day air all around.
