Gamefront.de is stating that in the article, Mr. Harrison has announced that there will be 20 titles available at the Revolution launch, with 1/3 of the titles being developed by Nintendo themselves. That is quite a staggering number…both in terms of launch titles, and the amount that Nintendo is contributing. E3 should help to confirm what titles we can expect at the Revolution launch, which Mr. Harrison states will be approximately at the end of 2006. Thanks to KLind for the info!

This just shows that with the familiar software and hardware developers will be able to pump out games at record pace. Does anyone know how many games the 360 has out?

Damn, moved.

Shouldn't this be in the classic gaming forum? I thought all next gen systems were already dead.

I agree. However they moved this one too.

That sounds impressive, especially the part about Nintendo having around 6 or 7 games available. I just hope we finally get a new Mario platformer.

Don't forget about New SMB for DS. :)

If this news is true, then it's very heartening to hear. But we'll have to wait and see.

Oh yes, that looks great, but I want a new 3D one too. :)

Yeah, this is what I was thinking of doing too. Oh well.

This sounds like a hell of a launch if it delivers on its promises. I'm stoked.

I don't see why people are skeptical about this. It seems like a pretty conservative number compared to what companies typically promise so I'd assume there's some weight behind it (especially considering how you probably have at least a few latecomers to GC development moving titles up to the Revolution).

I was under the impression that George Harrison no longer worked for Nintendo. Maybe I should check my facts...

I'll only believe it when Ringo says it.

Yes, but they won't be cool until John or Ringo says they are.... ;)
