Its not bad, but the best thing about it is the fact that the more you blow the worse it gets.

I think it's fitting that the gay guy or "fop" (it's hard to tell the difference between the 2), is wearing a shirt that says that.

I'd still really like to get an "I hate Jack Thompson" t-shirt from Penny Arcade. Only thing is, I just know every damn idiot in the world would stop me to ask who Jack Thompson is and why I hate him... x_x

Not a bad shirt. I wouldn't know if it was in Hot Topic because I don't venture into that poser store.

I knew a girl like that....
Anyway, I can't even wear most of my VG-related shirts anymore because of Hot Topic. All the emo dweabs and shit that wear Hot Topic's clothes and kind of ruined it for me. Shit, I'm too old for people to think I'm some kind of poser emo asshat, so all my vg shirts stay in my closet. Ok, sorry for the threadjack.
Interesting that Nintendo would endorse a Blow Me shirt. I believe they do have a license with HT, so I would imagine there would be some kind of approval process.

I'd find it far more humorus if a female was wearing that shirt.
But i have an odd sense of humor. LOL

I don't get it. What does "blow me" have to do with a NES cart? A pic of a DS would make alot more sense to me. You do actually blow into the mic on some DS games, right?

Back in the day people used to say that if you would blow into your nes cart it would make the games work.

That NES shirt isn't nearly as bad as those "Nintendo Rehabilitation Clinic" shirts. Those are just wrong.

Back in the day people used to say that if you would blow into your nes cart it would make the games work.
It does. What happens is when you blow into the NES cart, spit makes it's way onto the contacts also, which allows for a better connection between the cartridge and the pins inside of the NES. The bad part about doing this, is that spit doesn't evaporate very quickly, and saliva has the ability to eat that which it sits on. So rust and damage would happen to both the Cartridges and the Pin connector in the Nintendo.
Best solution? Use 90% Isopropyl Alcohol and a Q-Tip. The alcohol is wet, so it will collect the dirt and grime sitting on the NES Cartridge, but is 90% so it will evaporate quickly, therefore helping prevent rusting of the contacts. Remember : Always replace the cap on your Alcohol, or you'll come back form playing your game and it will all be evaporated.

Acid isn't the worry, it's the water. Oxidizes those pins, whopoes!
I wholeheartedly agree with isopropyl alquerhaul. Great solution.

I saw one once that had a picture of a NES controller on it, and it said "Classically trained."
I like that shirt. Never seen one for sale anywhere, though.
As for the whole Hot Topic/poser issue, just don't worry about it. I have a number of game shirts that came from there, but nobody who knows me would ever be able to call me a poser. If you like those shirts, just wear them and stop worrying about what other people think.
If you avoid wearing things because you're afraid people will think you're a poser, that's just as bad as thinking you have to wear something trendy for people to think you're cool. Either way, you're letting what other people think dictate what you do.
I got the "Know Your Roots" shirt from Target years ago and I proudly wear it whenever I do my white shirts, which isn't very often.
I don't see why anyone would feel like a poser wearing one of those shirts, unless that's what they really are.

Agreed.
I've never understood why people on this site have such fear & disdain for those VG shirts.
It's one thing to not like a design of the shirt, but I just do not understand what the problem is when it comes to wearing a shirt showing off something you like when you actually like it.
If someone is wearing an "Excite Bike" shirt and you approach them asking about the game only to get a "This is from a game?" comment, the only one looking/sounding stupid is the guy/girl wearing the shirt.
You still like the game, what has changed?
P.S. Hal Sparks :rocker:

Well, when you see assholes following certain fashion trends, and everyone knows they are assholes, I tend to not like to be associated as such, heh heh. And it's really not so much caring what other's think so much as caring what I think. I'm positive there are certain fashion trends you despise and do not follow. Are people dictating what you think because you don't do the same? I would think the answer is no.
To be honest, I hate trendy bullshit, and once such shirts became that, it pretty much ruined it for me. I'm not going to look like an asshole just because a bunch of poser emo trash does. LOL I'm exaggerating, but you get the idea. Please do carry on if you wear things like this.

Soon the trend will pass & the "poser emo trash" will find wearing VG shirts passe and those who still care will still be sporting the shirts.
I hate trends and trendy shit too, but not as much as i did in high school/post high school. I'm not really giving in to trends or being trendy so much as i just flat out don't care anymore.
I wear what few VG shirts i have and i don't give a shit if someone thinks i'm an asshole for it or not. It's my hobby and i enjoy it.

Damn straight, same here. I wear what I like, and I don't care one bit whether anyone else likes it or not.
