I got the last one at my store. I don't know if the price drop is nationwide or regional. But I'd thought I'd pass on the deal. Good luck!
At this price everyone should get this game. It's a great game. I bought it for $30, but now no one should miss out.

I, too, paid $30 for this game, and didn't feel bad about. Anyone who likes puzzle/adventure, Myst-type games should jump on this.

This deal isn't at all Target stores. A couple stores around here had it for $20. Found one for $15 though, so I snatched it up. Most Targets cleared Trace Memory out a couple months ago, so it might be tough to find any stores that are still carrying it.

Yeah, definately a YMMV offer. My local Target still has it at full price. Then again, I never find any clearenced out stuff there, despite the stock never seeming to move. :/

this game is so worth $8, takes advantage of many of DS' features. I bought it when it first came out and didnt regret it.

The game is good... but I only got about $4 worth of play out of it.

In order to get the whole $8 dollars worth you must play it for more than 3 minutes.

I am an hour into it and it is a great game. It's a little linear, like myst but highly enjoyable. Throwing the iron ball was something else.

I did. I beat the game, but that only took about four hours. And if you get all of D's clues, there's absolutely no reason to play the game again.
So you have a very short game, with little to no replay value. Unless you're buying to collect, there's really no reason to buy the game when you can just rent it. That's why I say I didn't get a full game's value for a full game's price.
For $8, yeah, not a bad deal, but it's not worth more than that.

Target deals are very rarely YMMV. I picked it up when it dropped to $20 a month or so ago at Target. It has been sold out since.

I am enjoying the game more. I am not a rpg kind of guy. Even though this isn't a true rpg. It's really fun. I am on Chapter 3 and the clues are getting easy to spot now that I know how the game fits together.

I was gonna make the lunch run too, but then I just called instead. They said they don't carry that game...musta ran out and stopped selling it.

I just finished it. It was quick but a great game. For me imo, too much dialogue. I am more of a shut up and play old school arcade guy. rpg's aren't for me, but it was a cool game to play. I liked myst back in the days too.
